About the Event
Most bands follow the curves, but Kazer and the Damaged Goods make their own path. Exploding out of the Rio Grande Valley, Texas, KTDG bleeds one-of-a-kind all original jams that are sure to get the crowd going and blood pumping. Known for their catchy and scratchy blend of country, alt-country, southern rock, punk, grunge, alternative, and pretty much anything else they can dabble in, Kazer and the Damaged Goods continue to leave people’s faces blown off when they take the stage! Kazer, the band’s frontman, explains, “I always write about past and present experiences, emotions, and situations that I’ve experienced so when you hear our music it’s relatable. I want to be able to put you in the feels. Make you want to pop open a cold one and jam the f*ck out.” After 10+ years in the rap industry, he realized he was in for a new voyage. That was when he picked up his first guitar. Only two years of self-teaching later, Kazer developed his sense of musical composition in this new “uncategorized” style. Now that he had found his sound, it was time for him to put a team together that would set the stage on fire. He did just that by assembling his dream team made up of five members (Matt “Kazer” Munoz, Lando Valley, Alex Soto, Ozzy Flores, and Randy Rodriguez). They have grown into a brotherhood whose influences range from Cody Jinks, Chris Stapleton, Koe Wetzel, Giovannie and the Hired Guns, Pantera, Deftones, and more to bring a well-blended sound that can only be their own.
With good old-fashioned hard work and determination, these small-town Texans continue to leave a lasting imprint wherever they get an opportunity to perform live. Kazer and the Damaged Goods have successfully dropped three singles along with an eye-catching music video that continues to get more attention. They are in the process of recording their debut album, Tequila Friday, along with more videos already in the works.
Kazer and the Damaged Goods’ aim is to set ablaze massive stages with a high energy performance that is guaranteed to be talked about long after the show. “We’re ready to take this to the moon!” So buckle up! Because Kazer and the Damaged Goods are well on their way to becoming one of the most exciting bands to watch in recent years!
